AI disclosure: Webair AI responses are generated by artificial intelligence and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Always review important answers before acting on them.

How it works

Three steps to answers in Slack.

  1. 1

    Add to Slack

A workspace admin (or any member, per workspace settings) installs Webair AI.

  2. 2

    Link your account

Each teammate connects their own Webair AI account with one click. No shared bot identity: answers come from your knowledge, visible only to you as you'd expect.

  3. 3

    Ask anywhere

Mention @Webair AI in a channel (it replies in-thread), DM it directly, or use /webair commands.

Features

Built for your knowledge, not a shared bot.

  • Answers use your Webair AI company brain: documents, memory, and connected apps.
  • Per-user linking — teammates never see answers generated from someone else's data.
  • /webair connect, /webair status, /webair unlink for self-serve control.
  • Unlink any time from the app's Home tab in Slack — one click, with confirmation.

Security & data

What Webair AI can and cannot see in Slack.

What we access

Webair AI only reads the messages you send it — a channel message that mentions @Webair AI, or a direct message to the bot. It requests four Slack permissions: read mentions (app_mentions:read), reply (chat:write), receive DMs (im:history), and slash commands (commands). It cannot read your channels, files, or history.

How it's used

The text of your question is sent to our AI providers to generate the answer. Your questions and the bot's answers are saved to your own Webair AI account as conversation history. Direct-message conversations can inform your personal Webair AI memory; channel mentions never do.

What we don't do

No ingestion of your Slack workspace or message history, no access to conversations the bot isn't explicitly invited into, and Slack data is never used to train AI models.

Leaving

Unlink your account any time (/webair unlinkor the app's Home tab) — Webair AI immediately stops answering for you. Uninstalling the app from the workspace revokes its tokens. Deleting your Webair AI account deletes your conversation history under our standard account-deletion process.
